How Encar works
Encar aggregates listings from independent dealers and dealership groups across South Korea. Each listing carries the dealer's asking price (in Korean Won, KRW), the vehicle's full registration record, mileage, and a structured inspection report covering accident history, simple repairs, key part replacements, and a rated condition score.
- Listings are in Korean — Hangul vehicle names, Korean dates, KRW pricing.
- Dealer reputation and registration are visible on each listing.
- Most cars have an Encar Diagnosis (진단) report with a numerical condition rating.
- Photos are typically 30–80 high-res images per car including engine bay, undercarriage, and any damage close-ups.
Why MENA buyers use KUC instead of buying direct
Encar is built for Korean buyers, not international ones. The site is Korean-language only, prices are KRW, and there is no built-in shipping, customs, or destination paperwork. Trying to ship a car from Korea to Saudi Arabia or the UAE without a partner means coordinating Korean export documents (말소등록), local customs codes (HS classification), bonded yard handling at the port, ocean freight, marine insurance, and clearance at the destination.
KUC handles the translation, due-diligence, landed-cost computation, port-to-port shipping, and final clearance — so the price you see in the calculator is the actual all-in cost in your local currency.
What to verify before you pay
- The full Encar Diagnosis report — accident history, simple repair flags, replaced key parts.
- Mileage consistency between the dashboard photo and the registration record.
- VIN match across registration documents and physical inspection.
- Whether the car has any active loan / lien (저당) — these block export.
- Recent service history if available (정비이력).
