How do I know an importer is verified?
- Every importer on this directory has been reviewed by the KUC team — we check their track record in Korea, sample 5+ prior shipments, and require dual-inspection capability before adding them. The list is re-audited continuously, so an importer can be removed at any time if buyer complaints come in.
Can I contact more than one importer for the same car?
- Yes — and we recommend it for your first deal. Different importers have access to different yards in Korea, so quotes can vary 5-15% on the same model. Talk to two or three before committing.
Does KUC charge a commission?
- KUC's fee is built transparently into the landed-price calculation shown on every car page — typically 2-3% of the car value. It covers platform operation, dual-inspection coordination, and dispute resolution if anything goes wrong.
What happens if the inspection finds a problem?
- If the dual inspection turns up a major issue (frame damage, odometer mismatch, undisclosed accident history), the deal is cancelled at no cost — your booking deposit is returned in full within 5 business days. Minor issues (cosmetic, wear items) are disclosed in writing with an updated price; you can accept, renegotiate, or walk away.
