What's included in 'landed cost'
- Korea-side: dealer asking price, Korean export documentation, bonded yard handling.
- Ocean freight: container or RoRo from Incheon / Pyeongtaek / Mokpo to Jeddah / Jebel Ali / Aqaba / Doha / Sokhna / Salalah.
- Marine insurance covering total loss + general average + theft.
- Destination port: handling, demurrage budget, document fees.
- Customs duty (varies by destination, 5%–40%).
- VAT or equivalent (5% KSA/UAE/Bahrain/Oman, 16% Jordan, 14% Egypt, 5% Qatar*).
- Local clearance + KUC service fee.
*Qatar's vehicle taxation is more complex than a single VAT rate. KUC's calculator embeds the country-specific rules so you don't have to research them yourself.
How to use the calculator
- Open the KUC calculator and select your destination country.
- Either browse the live inventory (every car shows a per-country landed price) or paste an Encar listing URL.
- The calculator returns the all-in cost in your local currency, broken down line-by-line.
- Use the side-by-side country comparison table to see how the same car would land in each MENA market.
